I am currently creating a new art collection titled The Spirit of Skiing. This series features square landscapes showcasing the mountains, resorts, and ski towns that attract visitors in search of snow. Whether you're a western skier drawn to the “powder” or an eastern skier accustomed to the frigid temperatures, there’s bound to be something in this collection that will find a place on your wall. Instead of unveiling the entire collection at once, I am “building” it gradually, with a new destination added each week until spring skiing arrives. I invite you to join my mailing list to receive updates on the launch of new art prints.
In this collection, I aim to capture the essence of the sport, which, for me, embodies a sense of freedom. The exhilaration of carving turns in the snow feels liberating. While I identify as a skier rather than a snowboarder, these prints are also intended for riders. The white lines against solid color backgrounds evoke the ski trails and mountain contours, often merging into one. These simple, calming, meditative fine art prints are designed not to resemble your favorite mountain but to evoke the “spirit” of skiing—the sensation of freedom experienced while navigating the slopes.
These prints are "open edition" and available in three sizes framed and ready for thewalls of your vacation home, or the walls of your home to remember your vacation. These Make great gifts and arranging in 2, 3, or 4 on a wall together as a gallery image works beautifully. If you choose this, select the piccolo size and they will work as a series.
