After two years of running my art business, I am making a significant shift. I am now focusing on creating my work exclusively for vacation rental homes. Of course, anyone is welcome to purchase my art, but giving me this focus feels liberating and energizing as my art has a unique appeal in these settings, as the style complements luxury cabins and modern spaces beautifully. My pieces evoke a sense of peace and tranquility, which is the atmosphere you want to cultivate for guests in a vacation rental. The global themes of my subject matter also connect with local elements, from designs inspired by national parks to my city prints.
I am so excited for this next phase of growth. I love that I can connect with Airbnb homeowners through email, phone, or Zoom and collaborate with them specifically on their spaces. I love creating mock-ups to help them see exactly how a piece of art will work on their wall. It is incredibly rewarding to assist clients from the initial selection process all the way to hanging the artwork on their walls, and even more rewarding to hear back on how my work has helped with guest experience and attracted more bookings from listing photos with my prints.
One thing you might not know about me is that I am an experienced host! For 11 years, I managed an Airbnb featuring a luxurious log home in New Hampshire, which has given me valuable insights into design and the business side of hospitality.
